Manual re-handling and tined grabs are a very cost effective and efficient way of handling materials. The extra bonus is these types of grab are also very tough.  With a rotating hydraulic grab the grab has to be built either smaller or lighter to take account of the rotator and larger bracket weight.              The manual grab can just be built stronger.  As a result  these types of grab are hard to kill!  As long as you grease regularly  and replace the wear parts if fitted  the grabs will suffer abuse far more than a hydraulic variant.  RSL Engineering manufacture all grabs in Hertfordshire.  As a result we can bespoke/modify to your requirements.  We manufacture grabs from 0.75t to 40t

All RSL Grabs are made from S355 high tensile steel with high tensile pins.  Hardox is an option for the tines.  Hardox is not a necessity.  For most applications S355 high tensile is more than enough.  We find it is better to put more metal into the frame and tines for strength than have the extra cost of Hardox.  If you are working with rubbles, concrete or other highly abrasive materials all day then we would recommend an abrasive resistant steel such as Hardox.
