Compactor wheels from RSL can come in all shapes and sizes  we have our standard range but more often than not we make them bespoke for your needs.  Above are pictures of 3 wheels.  The centre picture shows a standard 10t-14t wheel albeit with a multi pin set up .  The picture to the right is a an extra wide version.   All our wheels run on brass sleeves with carbon plugs.  These sleeves are relatively maintenance free with just the occasional greasing required.  The standard wheels also have a bolt on scraper which can also have additional scraper plates added for high wear abrasive material.

     The picture to the left is our new type compactor wheel  which uses multiple cast steel rings to vibrate and compress.    The rings are loosely fitted to the shaft (which runs on the brass/carbon plug sleeves) this allows the rings to float and follow the undulating ground and provide a shattering/vibrating effect as they roll over the clods or stone. This action increases the level of compaction over a standard wheel.
